Braunschweig, GermanyA 70 year old shoplifter attempted to bite a police officer while they were trying to arrest him, only to find out---he had left his dentures soaking at home.
The elder shoplifter was robbing a shirt shop that afternoon when the police were notified. Luckily they came just in time to catch the lifter from running. One police man tried very hard to hand-cuff him but was delayed when the shoplifter began to bit at him.
Police spokesman Gunther Brauner said: "He tried to bite the officer several times, but had forgotten to put his false teeth in and so was unable to cause him any harm."
