I'm just posting this....post, to tell everybody that I am to take a temporary leave from posting and blogging, due to the Olympics. I am trying to wait until some more stories come out and I will be back to post them.

Applegate battles breast cancer

Famed television, movie, and Broadway star Christina Applegate was diagnosed with early breast cancer and is being treated as of today. The 36 year old actress went through an MRI, her doctor confirmed that the cancer was not life-threatening.

The actress, probably most famous for her roles in "Samantha Who?", "Married...with Children" also starred in films such as "Anchorman," "& "The Sweetest Thing". Aside from acting on camera, Applegate also starred in the Broadway revival of Cy Coleman's Sweet Charity along side Denis O'Hare.

Shoplifter "bites" the dust

Braunschweig, Germany

A 70 year old shoplifter attempted to bite a police officer while they were trying to arrest him, only to find out---he had left his dentures soaking at home.

The elder shoplifter was robbing a shirt shop that afternoon when the police were notified. Luckily they came just in time to catch the lifter from running. One police man tried very hard to hand-cuff him but was delayed when the shoplifter began to bit at him.

Police spokesman Gunther Brauner said: "He tried to bite the officer several times, but had forgotten to put his false teeth in and so was unable to cause him any harm."
